Avoid using oxidizing materials. Stable in aqueous buffers, 1.0 M acetic acid, 1.0 M NaOH, 8 M Urea, 8 M guanidine hydrochloride, ethanol, methanol. Negligible volume variation due to changes in pH or ionic strength.
