Endomorphins 1 and 2 are endogenous opioid peptides which have the highest affinity for the mu-opioid receptors. Located in various parts of the brain and interacts with mu-opioid receptors and produces analgesia.

Antibody recognizes Endomorphin 2 by native applications. A dilution of 5-10 µg/ml is recommended for immunohistochemistry using formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues and for 4% paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissues. A dilution of 5-15 µg/ml is recommended for immunofluorescence. . Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
