Human olfactomedin 1 (Noelin) shares high sequence homology with the rat protein. While the exact function of the encoded protein is not known, its abundant expression in brain suggests that it may have an essential role in nerve tissue. It localises to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and there are several isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
Specificity has been confirmed by direct ELISA against the antigen.

This antibody is recommended for ELISA. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
